It was just last week, where a video of Ella Cruz dancing ''Twerk It Like Miley'' went viral and people has gone crazy and hypnotized. It has more than five million views on Facebook and YouTube combined.
The same thing happened to Maja Salvador, whose own dance video similarly attracted Internet fame.
Asked about what she thinks of being compared to someone like Salvador, Cruz said in an interview: "Sobrang compliment siya sa akin."
"Kasi siyempre si Ate Maja, 'Dance Diva,' 'Dance Princess,' 'Twerk Queen,' so sobrang flattering sa akin. Iyun din kasi ang gusto kong gawin besides sa acting. Mahilig din ako magsayaw," she added.
Ella Cruz, who has been called now as the "Teen Dance Princess" by her followers, also admitted that she still cannot believe that her video gained millions of views.
"Nasa lahat ng blogs tapos pag sinearch mo yung Ella Cruz sa Twitter, yun ang pinag-uusapan tapos daming shares sa Facebook tapos ang dami ring views. Sobrang gulat at sobrang saya and sobrang thank you sa lahat," she said.
