The viral video about "Snow in the Philippines" was uploaded last July 24, 2013, It is a YouTube News clip that looks very real and even showing a snowfall in the Mindanao area of the Philippines.
It left many Filipinos netizens dumbfounded. Is this true? a winter wonderland in the Philippines? Sounds amazing but seeing a snowfall here in the Philippines is like you are witnessing an apparition or a miracle.
Good thing, both PAGASA and NHK World Weather Report anchor Robert Speta confirmed that the video is totally fake. Well it turns out, that the video clip was taken in Year 2009 during the Mayon volcano eruption disaster.
In other words, it is confirmed to be just an ash fall, not a snowfall. Rodsburgh News Live, the agency which allegedly reported the incident, doesn’t really exist meaning we are all fooled by the owner of the youtube video.
