For several weeks now Fans of the show Eat Bulaga have been consistently following the tandem of Alden Richards and "Yaya Dub," also known as Team AlDub or AlDub.
They have their own hashtags as #AlDub and #KiligPaMore. The ratings of Eat Bulaga is consistently gaining more as Showtime is beginning to get worried. There are rumors that ALDUB's Popularity Is Now A Threat For Showtime. Well let's just wait and see.
Byt the way, Did you know that Yaya Dub's real name is Maine Mendoza, she plays the character Yaya Dub, and became an online sensation when she posted her Dubsmash videos on Instagram. Some her videos have more than 100,000 likes. Her first Dubsmash video, uploaded last April 22, already got one million likes in 24 hours.
Maine is just 20 years old and is residing in Sta. Maria, Bulacan. She finished her high school at St. Paul College and she took up Culinary Arts at La Salle College–St. Benilde.
